3 Local Chiropractors Celebrate 10 Years

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Three chiropractors practicing in the San Diego area are celebrating 10 years from their graduation date (August 14, 1998). Chiropractors Darrel Crain, Jack Mawer and Sondra Konigsfeld each graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College (CCCLA) in Los Angeles.

Dr. Darrel Crain commuted from his hometown of El Cajon during the four plus years he was receiving his chiropractic education in the Los Angeles area. He currently practices in the El Cajon area and sees patients by appointment only.  He can be reached at 619 445-0100.

Chiropractors Jack Mawer and Sondra Konigsfeld met while attending chiropractic school and they were married soon thereafter. The couple lived in Venice, California and later moved to the Encinitas area to build a family based practice (and enjoy lots of surfing).

The San Diego Chiropractic community congratulates these three fine individuals for their first 10 years of service as doctors of chiropractic. Here’s to a 20 year anniversary!

Health: Chiropractors at Marathons

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Summer is here and not quite gone.  In the nice weather it is pleasant to think about all the great outdoor activities done best at this time of year: water skiing, boating, swimming, camping, running.  Not just running, serious running!

It takes loads of planning to run a marathon – and they happen all over, in every state, all the time!  There is great strength in marathons: not only the runners but the support on the sidelines.  There is so much hype and advertisements and representation at marathons – is there room for the voice of a chiropractor and his (or her) team?

It is a good place to be with so many health-conscious people and there is no doubt that runners benefit greatly with chiropractic care.  It would be interesting to hear if our chiropractors out there have been at marathons here in San Diego: what you do, who you talk to, who you have to get permission from to be there.  A great thing to hear would be ideas or stories from experience at such events and pros or cons.

We can all ‘run’ towards better health in more ways than one.  Keep running!

Dedicated to Serving San Diego

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

This San Diego Chiropractic site is dedicated to delivering information about chiropractic and chiropractors in the County and surrounding areas of San Diego.

There are hundreds of chiropractors in San Diego County, and it’s not only sometimes difficult for consumers to find someone that is local to them, there are so many styles and practices of chiropractic, that people just don’t know what it is they are seeking.

Is it a chiropractor for low back pain? Are you seeking someone for regular wellness care? Did you see an ad on television for nonsurgical spinal decompression methods practiced by a local chiropractor? Been in a car accident and in need of relief? These are all different scenarios that may be best handled by different types of chiropractors.

We seek to help get chiropractors and consumers connected in a way that works for everyone. Here is to your good health!
